The Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine (FIAU) has opened its representative office at the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC). Creating a platform for partnership is one of the main goals of the FIAU office in Brussels.
This was stated by Viktor Berlin, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine.
“Currently, Ukraine is at the stage of active movement towards the EU, the national insurance market is also in the process of transformation, in accordance with the EU directives. I hope that our presence in Brussels, the epicenter of EU decision-making, will become another platform for contacts between Ukrainian insurers and European colleagues,” Viktor Berlin emphasized.
“Insurance today is a critical tool for attracting foreign investment to Ukraine and creating a system of war risk insurance, which representatives of the National Bank of Ukraine, relevant ministries and parliament are currently actively working on, and I hope will open the way for international capital. We plan to adopt the best international experience and actively present the Ukrainian insurance market, talk about our plans and achievements, we have something to be proud of. So I invite you to cooperate and I hope that our presence here, in Brussels, will help realize the huge potential of the Ukrainian insurance market,” Viktor Berlin concluded.
