The Coordination Council of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine (CC FIAU) includes the heads of the NAIU and LIOU, as well as the heads of four insurance companies-members of these associations, who were elected and delegated to CC FIAU by the results of the vote: from LІOU – the heads of VUSO Insurance Company and Euroins Ukraine Insurance Company, from NAIU – UNIQA Insurance Company and Universalna Insurance Company.
On January 22, 2025, at the constituent meeting of the Coordination Council of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine, its chairman and secretary were elected.
Olena Ulie, Chairman of the Board of PJSC “Insurance Company “UNIQA”, was elected Secretary of the Coordination Council of the FIAU for one year, and Viktor Berlin, President of the League of Insurance Organizations of Ukraine, will head the Council for the same term.
At the meeting of the Coordination Council, its participants discussed a number of current issues, as well as the need to form a list of priority areas of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine, and, accordingly, a plan of measures for their implementation.
Commenting on the intentions outlined at the meeting of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine, Denys Yastreb noted that “Consolidation allows us to achieve the set goals more effectively, and the representation of the NAIU in the FIAU will contribute to this.”
“The task of the FIAU is to become a reliable bridge between insurers and the market regulator and other state structures, because we have consolidated our efforts precisely for the functioning of a solvent, stable, competitive insurance market in Ukraine and proper protection of the rights of consumers of insurance services,” emphasized Viktor Berlin, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Federation of Insurance Associations of Ukraine. – It is very symbolic that the process of consolidation of the insurance market, which lasted for many years, ended precisely on January 22, on the Day of Unity of Ukraine. Together we are strong!”
